The Eastside Family of Parishes is excited to invite our young adults to take part in a very special Lenten Study! We will be using Ascension's Lenten Companion, formatted in the same way as our Advent devotional, Rejoice. Join us in journeying together with Fr. Mark Toups as we enter into the Lord's final days on earth and discover Christ's faithfulness to us in spite of all the ways that we may fall short in our relationship with him. To promote consistency and spiritual growth, these daily reflections include a word, a guided reflection, scripture passages for meditation, and an invitation to prayer.
Meetings will be hosted on Mondays at 7 pm and Wednesdays at 8 pm throughout the Lenten Season in the Parish Commons at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Due to the Eastside Family's hosting of our Lenten Mission during the week of February 19th, our first gathering for the Monday group will take place at 8 pm. Want to participate but can't make our weekly meetings? Pray and prepare alongside us by ordering a copy to be used on your own, and check our Lenten Resoures page for each week's video!
We have concluded our period of registration for this Young Adult Study. A few extra books have been ordered for those who may have missed the deadline, so please reach out to Haley to inquire about purchasing one of these. If you have to order one on your own, please still feel welcome to join us for our first meeting on Monday, February 19th, at 7 pm or Wednesday, February 21st, at 8 pm in the St. Cecilia Parish Commons.
