Christmas EPIC Party
December 12, 2023
11:30-2:30 pm
Robisch Hall
Feel the joy of this blessed season with EPIC! Join us for our Christmas celebration on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12th , from 11:30-2:30 pm in Robisch Hall. You will enjoy a festive lunch, Christmas libations, entertainment by our St. Mary School Children's choir, a special surprise singer and fun and games. Between great conversation with your peers and abounding laughter, there will be plenty of Christmas cheer!
Our guest speaker will be Joy Blang, Director of Philanthropy for Episcopal Retirement Services. She is a delightful and dedicated advocate for improving senior conditions. She will share the services that all seniors can have access to, i.e. a new Wellness program, Affordable Living for the middle class, and much more. You will enjoy listening to how seniors in our community are being helped each and every day.
This year's theme is "Seniors Gifting Seniors." As we reflect on the birth of Jesus, our most precious gift, you will have the opportunity to bring a Christmas gift for seniors less fortunate than ourselves. You can pick up something while out shopping or our own Crafty Ladies will have a table at our event with their items for you to purchase (helping two causes at once!). Your gifts will be wrapped by our committee and distributed to the residents of Forest Square in Avondale, an ERS facility. Their needs are basic: dish towels, dish clothes, soaps, lotions, shampoo, hats, scarves, gloves, throws, small totes, snacks and candies, etc. Perhaps a Christmas stocking or small ornament to decorate your package.
Please register online below or email Mary Landrum at mlandrum@eastsideregion.org no later than Friday, December 8th. There is no charge for this event, but you must register for it.
